The Darkness That Lures

Walking idly past trees and shrubs,

Hearing snaps and whining cubs.

There's light to her right,

but she looks away, shivering, and continues to walk,

For ahead there is shadow, darkness full of grief,

screams of agony, and shouts so brief,

leaving her wondering,

thirsting for knowledge,

of what happened here,

Of what had happened to me.

Author's Note

I dunno. I had a weird dream... I was staying up all night, reading creepypasta with a friend, and casually dying while internally, screaming in fright, so I thought I'd have the worst nightmares, with BEN appearing and stuff. But I just dreamed of some forest instead. THANK GOD.

Chains ended up grabbing me, and I was dying and stuff, but luckily (this is weird)
a goat came to my rescue. By eating me.
But inside the goat, there were other people, and we ended up having a party.
So I would consider it a pretty good dream.
