mortality

A Poem by J. Randall Dodd

i found'd th' everlastin' youth i'd been searchin' fer.
tom sawyer's, oliver twist's,
and peter pan's secret hide-out ain't secret no more.

buri'd treasures, pocket'd plunder, vials o' fairy dust;
we're gonna have a mighty good time.
i knock three times and enter.  woo-hoo,  everlastin' fun!

wait, whose bones be these?

The last line is ackchily too elegant for colloquial southern speak. Sounds more like a pirate! Nice work!
