"Prince"...All I can really say about this poem is that..."It's kind of funny..." The right person will know what I mean by that.

I am awake
and you fill the chambers of my mind.
Dreary, my head drops

and you are holding my eyes open.

I am laying here
in this box
succumbed to the thought of you.

I met someone perfect.
The solution to all my problems.
I’ve envisioned our meetings so perfectly.
Dare I dread the day when dreaming ends.
And reality comes to play.

I know that nothing is perfect,
that you love HER
but you are so close, it frightens me
and I restrain my beating heart
far out of reach from the claws that you’ve grown.

Am I dreaming?
Someone pinch me.
For at that moment I stopped breathing.
I know fairy tales are far from me now,
but will you give me my happy ending?
