Day after Day

Day after Day

A Poem by AndrewL

Day after Day

By Andrew Lindberg

Boards with writing

Snow lingering on trees,

Posters facing east to west papers staked one in a million

Notes of soft rock flowing throw the air,

Magazines piled in a hill

, pride telling us from right and wrong

, survival notes laing on walls chairs stacked up side down

Sound of honking car passing by, black and blue clouds form in the sky

, frozen angle tears falling from the heavens

And our nation’s flag reminding us to keep our head up
