Meadows

Meadows

A Poem by Renegade

There are meadows in my mind
Where I go from time to time
When my soul within the midst
Simply doesn’t feel missed

Some are dark and they are gloomy
Where green moss sits rather looming
Some are bright and full of yellow
Where all the flowers play the cello

So my soul flows within the mist
As the time moves rather swift
And my mind searches for the friend
Who is worthy to defend?

There are meadows in my mind
Where I go from time to time
When my soul within the midst
Simply doesn’t feel missed

Some are grey and full of blue
Where there’s nothing that seems true
Some have skies with pastel colors
Where my friends are also brothers

So my soul searches for a fellow
Who can make it all feel mellow
When my mind starts just to drift
And my soul just need as lift

There are meadows in my mind
Where I go from time to time
When my soul within the midst
Simply doesn’t feel missed
