Bugs in Silent Flight

Bugs in Silent Flight

A Poem by Renegade

Bugs in silent flight I see
Within in a summer’s night indeed

Unknown Sonics pounding thru
From distant points of blue
Cause an instinct within in you
To investigate the blues

Bugs in silent flight I see
Within a summer’s night indeed

Snap, crackle pop just in a flow
That strange orange glow
Of summer fires as they slow
Embers glowing hues of red
Flames of violet blue instead
Dancing deep within your head

Bugs in silent flight I see
Within a summer’s night indeed

Warm eddies from the fire just past
Will surely make a flight to last
While the instinct deep inside of you
Drives you towards those
Distant points of blue

And finally you breach the night
And reach that source for frantic flight
But that distant point of blue
Seems to reveal something new

Bugs in silent flight I see
Within a summer’s night indeed

An Ultra violet light
Is capturing the night
A sonic song to feel
A charge that seems so real
Just sweetening the deal

Sweet instinct deep inside of you
Drives you screaming to the view
So you reach out past the grate
And realize it’s much too late

Ultra-Violet light soon turns at night
To rapture of a bugs whole life
In a brilliant flash of white

Bugs in silent flight I see
Within a summer’s night indeed

A point I make by no mistake
If instinct drives you towards the blues
In search of all the clues of life
You may wrap yourself so tight
As not to see a brilliant white
Even in the deep of night
