Lunar Light

Lunar Light

A Poem by Renegade

Moon rays dancing thru the trees
On a still night with no breeze
Are casting shadows with an ease
And ebbing tides within the seas

Emotional autopilot would not hide it
When those moon rays had divided
Bounced around and then collided
With a flash that soon subsided

Reflecting shadows in the vision
Of all the times with indecision
The man in the moon will fraternize
To simply make you close your eyes

Soon lunar visions mesmerize
Emotions locked and pressurized
With fleeting thoughts to temporize
Sweet memories of stellar skies
