All I Feel

All I Feel

A Poem by Renegade

All I Feel

Loneliness is all I feel
And the wounds that never heal
Sticks to my soul and coats the wheel
Like freezing rain on cold blue steel

shiny things that bring me down
when no one cares to be around
Things get stuck inside my head
When suicide's the thought instead

Times like these the words are needs
that flow from me into the seas
no sunlight here no standing trees
no summer day no warm sweet breeze

Cold steel deck ice obstacle
to walk it now you must be bold
the soul invites the dark and cold
As dreams slip down into the hold

Ice builds thick on things in tow
And dreams just seem impossible
Slipstreams the mind that simply knows
Survival dictates letting go
