Cracks

Cracks

A Poem by Renegade

Cracks

Stalwart Buildings

Deep dark ceilings

Bricks

 And

 Mortar

Blood and horror

Long dark halls

Where nothing falls

Slack

That

Cracks

Something Snaps

Glass High Rise

Reflects broken Skies

Cracks

That

Stack

Eyes go black

Stalwart writings

Transcript the feelings

Cracks

That

Wrack

No looking back

Stalwart Fighting

No point in hiding

Cracks

In

Form

Something’s torn

Stalwart Blues

Deep hues

Dark moods

Something’s worn

Bricks

 And

 Mortar

Blood and horror

Awesome. The sparseness really adds to the effectiveness.
