Fate

Fate

A Poem by Renegade

Fate

Fate lays its hand

On the scene

While the lights slowly dim

In a dream

Fate slowly grinds

In the times

Frozen tears, childhood fears

Tiny pocket watch gears

Fate simply fly’s

On the wheel

All the light it steels

Will put you on your heels

Fate when it spins

Nothing wins

Daylight pins, a night owl’s wings

Within the night it sings

Fate makes its mind

What the night owl’s find

Ticking time can’t mend

All the things that bend

Fate lays its hand

In a dream

While the lights slowly dim

On the scene
