Someone I was Searching For

There is someone I've been hoping to meet

Someone whom with I could share pillows and cold feet

Someone that would be there for me when I needed you

Someone that can hold me close and love me, too. 

I've been searching for such a very long time

And I'm scared that I won't ever find someone to be mine

For always and forever, because every time I've tried

They say that they love me and then I find that they lied. 

My heart is broken and Hope I couldn't see

And then you stretched out your hand to me

You pulled me to my feet and helped me stand again

You hugged me and held me and now I feel no pain. 

There was someone I was searching for

But I don't need to search for them anymore.
