CrimsonA Poem by RESWAR
Crimson river went flowing by, like a whale it swallowed every mile,
ebbing into the chasm of love, tide increasing with every sigh. Time took a standstill, braking the river from its ride, letting the crimson creep on his toes, up into the lover's eye. There he stands upon her cheek, there's no missing his true colour, it is unmistakably love that blossoms deep, in her dimple, in her eye. Crimson, had he been asked would have liked to stay, but his will is not in question here, love is but a fleeting thought, Crimsons will go like yesterday © 2011 RESWAR |
