UntitledA Poem by SchelleBBroken hearts always heal
You remind me of what love could be
Like new born babies, And rose petal covered floors, People with British accents, A child's first words, First loves, broken hearts, Like Lauryn Hill's entire album, Like poetry, summer nights. I realize that my mind is just too vast for you, That I don't even live in the same reality as you. Broken hearts always heal, And you realize you were never meant to love them in the first place. Growing old or young is your choice, Like soil under my feet Growing gardens of me and you, Nourishing my thoughts and staying true! Thank you for freeing me From the hell which is you! I promise I'll stay true, And my next love won't be in vein. I'll pour out my love, Letting it flow into eternity, And what lasts forever Will be our one and only infinity! © 2025 SchelleBAuthor's Note
