As I'm writing this, I feel an incredible urge to turn back and run for the hills. This is a story I've been working on. I had lost the original version (which I felt was perfect) but I've worked tirelessly to recapture my original vision. This is just an excerpt, for I am not ready to reveal the rest, which is partially due to the fact that it's unfinished, but mostly I'm afraid.
Please feel free to give constructive criticism, but be gentle. This is my first story.
