My Valentine

Never written a love poem before, but, then again, I've never had the occasion to. This is for my beautiful, amazing girlfriend. (Happy Valentines Day, Mercedes)

We met eleven months ago,

In an unconventional way.

Two, shy people

Who were looking for a friend.

Instead we found love:

 

A beautiful, true love

That is ours, all ours.

A love that will last forever,

No doubt of that.

 

Since the moment I met you

I knew I found someone special.

I found a person

As shy as me

As sweet as can be

Beautiful

Funny

Smart

Caring

Loving

As dorky as me (A good thing)

 

The day I met you I realized

somewhere deep down

I'd never be alone again.

And now that realization

Is at the top of my core.

 

I give you my heart,

My beautiful Angel.

Forever and Always.
