The Threadmill of Time

The Threadmill of Time

A Poem by Richard Guimond

Samsara, the Wheel of Time

Like a hamster running in a threadmill
On the Samsara, the Wheel of Time
I set my course forward so fast
That I can see the back of my past self
Looking at my back in the present, its future

If today I release an arrow forward
It would have hit its target yesterday
Yesterday stands beyond Tomorrow
And Today only a conscious illusion

a mindtwister of a poem that negates the idea of any past and future to say that we all stand in a continual present, loved it :)

A clever write Richard, thought provoking and had to be reread to absorb all the hidden details

what a dystopian romantic Sci-Fi-ish creation... lovely in every way you look at it
