Oh my goodness to discover yet another beauty of yours and lucky me..on the same day..One in the early morn and one as evening settles in the mountains..
The idea that somehow life goes on...as my Forevermore poem says... about my own death.
Sharing ones heart..ones love while able to is so important.. even little things matter..and knowing that can make a difference to the way ones days are lead.
Life is but a moment ...and each moment needs to be made aware of.. Keeping our hearts open to love is the key.

As you know, I'm not into the exacting form passion that you demonstrate, so I can't appreciate that. But I am a very rhyme-and-rhythm tuned writer, so I totally jive on that . . . this might be the best I've seen it in a long time, where the words roll off the tongue with such rhythmic smoothness. I can't pretend to review with the skill that some of my peers are able to Richard, but I can recognise a darn good poem when I see one, and this is one of those. Love the structure, the rhyme scheme and the beautiful message of love contained in your stanzas. Great heartfelt sentiment and poetic expression. I particularly enjoyed the internal rhyme which works so well here. I like very much the idea that we tip toe through life and when we leave, everything will carry on without us in the world of nature. Happy new year.

I recall when you first arrived at the Café, and I was one of the first to welcome you and share our poetry. I knew then you would become one of the most prolific, endearing, and popular poetesses onsite … indeed, you certainly have, and then some. : )

In that I rarely ever read anyone else's reviews, I've no idea what kind of reviewer you are to everyone, but whatever you've ever left for me and my humble poetic efforts, Dear Chris, has been more than inspiring, gracious, intelligent, and tremendously kindhearted and generous to a fault. You are brilliant in all you say and do … this is my sincere discernment of You.

Take this review, for instance: If I were a flagging poet, doubtfully worrisome of my skill, fretting over my weak metaphor and syntactically askew diction … all I would have to do to be reassured and have my faith in myself renewed, would be to read this review and I'd be made whole again.

So, you see, M'Lady, your assessment of my poetry and skill level lifts and encourages me to shine my battered olde pen and to keep trying again and again.
