Preamble:

Love .... a true lovers' existence is created by

the blending of two humans' universes into one~**~~~~~~~~~~~

 

"All Of Me"

O’ that my manly, sensual hands could divide
each erotic thought inside of you,
knowing each and every one as my own.

My legs to gallop through the orchards of
your loving heart, to find you chasing after me,
eager and wanting.

My smiling cerulean eyes, that have witnessed,
weathered, and survived pain, dance on some high bed
of perfumed human heaven ~ with You.

I want these feet that never sleep to wander
into the deepest part of you, the ghosts unchained …
ecstatic, as we flow into a hot desert sea.

I want my blood, this rich tenderness,
to be your warm blanket of never-ending love.

I want this tongue of mine, like some acrobat insane
and wild, to tumble towards you and lick away all
the painful memories that hold you.

I want this heart, in time, both infinite and now,
to know the reason for the light in you
that lifts and draws me ever to it.

I want to be with you until the last poem
has been written …
the last book of the moon read.

Wow! You are a wizard with words, Richard! This very sensual write walked all over my heart as I read. The visual detail is stunning and displays unfathomable deep desire for someone so special.
A poem of love which steals the reader's heart away and leaves them longing for more. Eternal love encapsulated in each word of this magical write. I love how the final five stanzas of the poem begin with "I want" as the poet depicts through excellent word choice, his wants and needs. I want my blood, this rich tenderness,
to be your warm blanket of never-ending love.

While there are so many exquisite lines in this poems the ones above stood out to me.
Wanting to cover the person and be their warm blanket in the night!! Sensual yet comforting as well.

This poems speak of a deep passionate love that longs to be eternal and to help undo the past past memories that have tainted or damaged a persons trust in love and relationships. To be the beginning and the end of love; always together until the last days and longer.
