Truck pulled up in
Front of me
The news reporter
Peaked out of his
Window
Maybe he was
Rehearsing his lies
For the simpletons
Who love Nielson's
Rating
So
With my Bob Marley
Shirt on
And my Wounded Healers
Book that I got
From the old bookstore
On Colfax
The reporter didn't
Say much
Because usually
People that looked
Like me
Always make
The news for the wrong
Reasons and 

You no what?
I am OK that

In fact, I know that 
I am not news worthy
Because the truth
Of the matter
Is that I am really
Camera Shy

Nothing wrong with being camera shy... it's sad though, that people are stereotyped by what they wear, what they look like, or for any other reason actually. I'm a photographer as much as I am a writer and I'm usually the one behind the camera, so I seldom have to face the lens myself. People take pictures of me only when I get in their way... I'm probably stereotyped as the old dude who messes up peoples pictures... In any event, your writing rings very true... I'm going to make sure to read more...
