Never Accepting

Never Accepting

A Poem by Mr.Skeleton
"

something I thought of

"

Though Empty Sockets I stare

At bone long stribbed bare

Bleached white by the sun

The decaying of all meat is done

No flesh is left upon these bones

As I lay upon these river stones

Memories of life come to me

The best is climbing my old tree

To the day I was handed my diploma

Before my water filled coma

Going on my first date

Trying to avoid this lonesome fate

As my final memories become clear

My last moments were of fear

This horrid fate I will deny

For this was no way to die

My memory of the river's roar

Will never allow my spirit to soar
