I’m Fine

I’ll tell you right now

There’s nothing you can say

Nothing will bring me down

             

I’m a peace lovin’,

Tree hugging,

Piece of work, I’d say

Pro-Gun, Pro-Life, Pro-Love

Maybe I’m a contradiction,

But who isn’t?

 

Calm as I may seem

I can’t always get a grip

Always wondering,

How can I succeed?

More confused then I can possibly seem

It’s terrible

I know

But there’s no denying it now

 

I write more then I read

But rarely do I succeed

Pen in hand,

Twirling before I start

There are only a few things I need

A pen and a page

A good idea in my mind.

Granted

Sometimes that’s not enough.

 

I can’t say I’m no sinner

I can’t say I’m a queen

But theres nothing wrong with that

I am what I am

I’m going to sing it out load

I’ll tell you right now

And I’m proud
