The smell of the rain,
It awakens my soul.
Reminds me of a time when I felt so whole.
Now we're apart and nothing is the same,
Making us feel a longing pain.

I still remember your gentle touch,
It's no wonder why I miss you so much.
I hold to my blanket each night,
For it is the only way I can hold you tight.

I watched the sun rise on your face,
But now only see an empty space.
My dreams take me back to the Falls,
The wonderful place where we shared all.

No one has ever made me feel this way,
I'm safe and secure, so I won't run away.
You have changed me from the way that I was,
With your tender heart and healing love.

No man on Earth could be like you,
With your faithful heart and love so true.
Within my heart, forever you'll stay,
And I wouldn't have it any other way.
