UngluedA Poem by Rita L. SevOne of those days...I’m having a
hole-in-the-wall day Nothing feels quite right Maybe I’ll sweep it under
the rug And loosen my sleep tight
My ruffled feathers sank
like a stone My watched pot just won’t
boil My knickers are in a
mighty twist My perfect pitch is
spoiled
My notions are coming out
half-baked My wild card’s been subdued I guess that’s just what
happens when The mind has come unglued
