Should have used duct tape. Rita, this was fun and a delight to read. I personally loved it, for I do know what it is like to have you mind come unglued.
i knew there was a reason i don't wear knickers. you ladies should really try boxers, they never get twisted and give you plenty of breathing room. Rita, this one is truly amusing and a very fun read. i always did love poetry like this!

Thanks, Quin. Think I will try the boxers today... :)
Wow, perfect for my day!! Knickers in a twist and all that jazz, this one spoke to me, then poked me in the ribs for good measure! Good one Rita, how did you know?

Looks like a lot of us are having a typical Monday... oh, well, Tuesday's almost here!
Sounds like Monday? You gave new meaning to the saying "coming unglued" if I were you, I'd invest in some ducktape, a good housekeeper, and another life insurance policy.

Hahaha! Yes, this was a Monday all around! I like your suggestions! Thanks for reading. :)
Totally felt this one; I got the sense reading it, of having my ideas come out sideways or blundering my speech all day. Or opening a bag of cereal with too much glue on it and having it explode all over the kitchen.
I want to say something about the boil/spoiled rhyme, but I feel like it adds to the piece's theme of having an off-day. I'd almost be happier to see the first and third stanza's rhymes messed up a little, to the point of 'close, but not quite right.' Still, great job bringing out that feeling.

oh god not your knickers... this reminds me of JustLorry's writing. It's fun, rhyming, and has kid-friendly meaning. Like Dr. Seuss... lol this is my favorite kind of poetry, personally. great job :)
