Hi Rita. A beautiful write and skillfully crafted Traditional Tanka. Very good use of brevity. Perfect syllabic form. Imagery is good as are the descriptives. You paint a lovely picture of the beauty in mature created by God that any reader can appreciate. Flow is good; line to line transition and breaks are done well. Nice metaphor - "trees and sky a cathedral' - very good descriptive/comparison. Lovely depth of feeling. You express the beauty of His 'sanctuary' that I can relate to very well. Good word choice and nice alliteration. Excellent closing line. Well penned and a much enjoyed read. Write on!
