I have never heard of a Black Velvet! Stout can be so bitter. Champagne is a delight. (It really does tickle my nose!) Balance is the key you have penned here. Nicely done! Angi~

that is so true...you made kind of a funny poem out of a really true concept...life is too often about black and white...it is the way many people see life...

but we all drink from the same bottles and glasses...and it all goes down one way or another.
