so many walking billboards 

for Fitch and Abercrombie

we've raised a generation

of texting, tweeting drones

their means of human contact

inanimate iPhones

perhaps some day they might just learn

to make a real connection

not settling for modern day's

bland pseudo-affection

One can only hope Rita… I remember one day on break at work, I was reading a book and looked up to find all the other 9 people in the room with me were playing on there phones and not having a conversation in person.

In a word, amen...I love it when someone calls out this generation for its 'zombification,' and leave it to a teacher to do it haha...a rather cynical departure from your usual tone, but it's more than welcome, especially in this case...well done Rita :)
