Drive

As the cool summer breeze kisses my skin,
I open my eyes to the world around me.
A panorama of beauty surrounds me
and engulfs my being.

 

My soul is immersed in the
cool river of new life.

 

Cleanse and Renew.

 

Sunlight dances across my bare shoulders.
I feel every harmony resonating
through my entire body.
The story plays out in my mind.

My imagination spills over the brim.

Absorbed in all
my senses.

I can feel this poem. It is very evocative, a very pleasant read. I wrote one called "A Quiet Place" and this one reminds me a lot of that. "Sunlight dances across my bare shoulders." is a very good line. Well done.
