What keeps me awake at night?

The glow
of soft golden flames
flickering in the night

casting shadows
of Silhouettes
dancing
in its wavering, light

It's the sweet,
melodic hum
of a vast,
tranquil ocean
Swaying,
in harmonic rhythms

As lovers dance, in a sea of satin and silk

fingers clasping
bodies rising
falling
arching
in rapturous waves
colliding

part of this reminds me of "Patterns" by simon and Garfunkel...

"casting shimmering shadows on the houses through the trees....paints a pattern on my wall, like the pieces of a puzzle. or a child's uneven scrawl>
