Footprints

When I look back in time
To my life, all I see is a desert
Empty all around, just sand.
As I near the last two years
I see small footprints
Of a 20 years old girl
With nicely shaped toes.
For a long distance
I only see her footprints
But after some time
I see a pair of them
Walking side by side
And that's how it goes
Till tonight.

I was a person who is very afraid of change, I liked everything to Sarah the same, but for the last two years, there is a women in my life (that I love, but can't have) she started change many things in my life ( her footprints) and then thought me how to start changing too (my footprints) . thank you for your nice words :-)
