Stories and fairy tales,

Life's a dream ,

Heartbreak and heartache,

It's all a lie.

Grab what you can,

While it's there,

And near,

For life's a story,

And a fairy tale. 

Sweet and sour,

Passion and hate,

Death and destruction,

And ghosts so pale,

All features of stories,

Fairy tales,

And lands afar,

For that's what life's like,

In lands here and far. 

Author's Note

Okay well this wasn't a planed peace...I just had to write something which was deep in some levels but could be taken as a poem that's just written because it's like my normal work.

This is so true! I have so often thought of life as springing straight off the pages of a story book. You capture this notion wonderfully. "In lands hear and far" I like this ending line. The book of fairy tales at the top lends a sense of fancy.
