Friends... No... Family

This shows that even my closest friends feel like family to me.

You are a friend to me,

No more than a friend.

You are everything,

Everything in which I can depend.

I can depend on you,

Depend on you like a family member.

Someone who cares for me in various ways

And someone who will always remember.

Always remember what they mean to me.

And what I feel for each of them.

And I hope they know,

Know that I will love them

Until the very end.

Now, Rose, you don't wanna hold onto someone too tight. It's like when I give Chris a bear hug when I see him and he squelps, "I gotta breeze, man !" He's a wonderful friend to me, but I can squeeze the air right outta him if I'm not careful in my affection.

Love is beautiful, love is wonderful - but you don't wanna smother it. :)

However, this is definitely a well-written poem, and I understand the emotions that run through camaraderie and deep friendships. I had one myself years ago until he moved. Hang in there.

UBetcha, think of LOVE as a butterfly. Sure you can pin it all up like a collector, but it's much more interesting to watch it in flight, and that means a very and uniquely gentle touch. :7
