Sinful LoveA Poem by Alaric Rosejust came to me
Loving and hating,
All at the same time. It was sad but also happy As we wandered the world together. Hand in hand we fought, No matter the malevolent peril. The fight consumed us And our sins required payment. Devoured by all that is dark. She was all powerful. With tears streaming down my eyes, I erased the evil in her. In doing so I had cut her down. Bleeding and fading quickly, She smiled one last time. I was left there screaming. © 2015 Alaric Rose |
