My heart

 

The world would seem a lonely place if you stood for a second in my space

For a painted picture on the wall is how I am perceived by all

Behind those eyes and twinkling smile you will find a girl inside

Alone and scared she may be, Confused by all of humanity

So much to give, so much to say

If only I could find a way

For my wounded heart craves to be

Loved by someone who can see

That I am more than what they say

And who could love me in everyway
