You think that you know someone then think again....
It makes no sense really the words just kind of float around my head Time has forgotten yesterdays sorrows. My eyes gaze upwards with hate. You broke my heart into tiny ragged pieces You walk about our house if nothing has happened What planet are you on Mars or something I have had just about enough of you to last me a life time You know what quickly just leave don't ever come back.... Why don't you say something.? explain Who do you think are. leading me up the garden path You are a big fraudster Fake and a liar For I am hurting real bad inside ..........
What planet are you on
Mars or something - that line just jumped out at me. I think similar things at times when dealing with those closest to me. Well penned.
raw bleeding emotions must happen before any healing can begin. You poem represents the beginning of that process- many many many people will relate personally to this.

Elizabeth Olesen Rosalind, I am very sorry for my response. I think I was so quick to impose my own way of dealing with sorrows. Of course, you have the full freedom to express the great storm you are going through. And I do symphatize very much. Thanks for sharing this. Denmark 1/12/2013 7:10:08 AM
Elizabeth Olesen Dear Rosalind, I am really very sad to read this kind of poem. I have read a number of your very good poems, but this one is something that makes me very unhappy. I am sorry. It is because I have read you as one with a very loving heart and I think hating should not cover your loving heart. I know we can be angry and can be sad. We can use our poems to help us to be delivered from these strong emotions, almost choking us. But to have a poem to be occupied with hate is really sad. Denmark 1/11/2013 6:21:05 PM
ale Costello I think it is brave to talk about the emotions most of us try to deny ourselves. We all experience anger in our lives, it is better to address that than hide from it I believe. well done.
the writing isn't good, does 'having something to say' make up for that?? well, I don't think so- if you've got something to say just say it, POETRY is more than that. That's just my opinion. Anyway, if its cathartic for you more power to your elbow :)
