Nice take on this Bible verse,
which I am, in fact, familiar with.

I've always been somewhat afraid of this.
I have, in fact, reached out to the homeless and the downcast.
I've even had some of them bite me.
I've given to charity and had my money stolen by at least one of them, that turned out to be fake, and then miraculously seemed to have had nothing missing from my wallet.
God is good.
