It is about my last son leaving home "

 

Why oh why
did you walk
out!!!!
I don't understand
what did I do
I need to know
if I hurt You so
was it really
that bad
won't you
consider coming
back
the house is so
quiet
too quiet
for my liking
its empty
motionless
I cannot find a reason
to go on
without you now
the pain is so deep
please help me
for I am choking
on my own tears
I doubt very
much this night
if I will last
my spirit is
broken
their is not enough tears
left to cry
nothing left
for I am finished
done for

I have four children. Three left home and all returned. With two grandsons as a bonus. I understand the poem. House is lonely with no kids. Th poem made me think how mush we need to be part of our children life. A excellent poem.
