Midnight Valentine

When we enter the dream world, love takes a whole new form...

In the world of dreams, I walked alone
Among the stars of the sapphire night.
In every shine I saw your ember eyes,
Dissolving my senses in kaleidoscope light.

Every eye uttered mouthless signs,
Words of emotions stirring deep from within.
It was your voice I stopped to consume,
Sweet honeycomb nectar my ears drank in.

Despite solitude, you were there on my path,
In spirit your presence was there at my side.
The silk of your touch I felt in my hand
And into your form, the stars did collide.

On the pathway to heaven like an angel you stood,
Your enchanted aura hypnotising my being.
Sparkles cascaded from the frame of your body,
But the spell of your smile was all I was seeing.

You enfolded me close in your shining embrace
And whispered in a language only I could decode.
Surrounded by midnight and your essence so pure,
Peace eminated from the sapphire road.

Hand in hand we walked the stars
Neither one knowing where we would be led.
For a moment we embraced and three words we spoke,
And forever after, nothing more need be said.
