Of lies and promises...

Yesterday you said, I love you
Trust, with falseness bought
Pierced fragile heart right through
Today, those words forgot

Love's last petal fell
Crushed by your prose, counterfeit
This semblance covered; unforseen
My mind left solemn in this torment
