Poetry, once written if old
Seems now our story fortold

Verses of love turned to hate
Went for years, disguised
For lovers bliss could not create
Undeniable truth hidden by lies

Emotions once felt
From this place, banished
Like snow, soon to melt
Has from my heart since vanished
