Peacock butterflyA Poem by Rudi J.P. LejaeghereHappiness is a butterfly, which when pursued, is always just beyond your grasp, but which, if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you. Nathaniel Hawthorne
Frivolously
he flutters all the borders on and off a whirling toss of colours silent
dances his own way drunken of
a flower after
flower after
flower
how bright
his passion shines, my peacock
butterfly fans out as
a rainbow after a shower
escapes
from the dance of the
collector singing
sky-high his Gloria.
