Watching The Stars
A Poem by Robert Wilson
For Abbie
The high felt
In my chest
Is better than nirvana
Time stops
When I place my hand
In your hair
And run it through
It makes me euphoric
I've picked out
Every thorn in a
Rose garden
So we can sleep
In that heaven
While watching the stars
Then I'll look into
Your eyes
And that moment
Will be enough
To make me weep

And that moment
Will be enough
To make me weep....That is such a beautiful way to express the inexplicable joy that brings tears of fulfillment.

"I've picked out
Every thorn in a
Rose garden
So we can sleep
In that heaven
While watching the stars"

Well done, I love the link of roses with heaven and the sacrafice of picking the thorns.
