yearning for a better world of existence brings forth thoughts of fantasy

if i could jump and reach just one star

even one i would

if i could catch the light of a million suns

the light of just one galaxy

all these fiery blazing orbs

i’d gift them to you 

i’d use their light to cure

the ills of all mankind

just for you

if i could sail to a distant shore 

to a world in a galaxy far

i’d leave at once, no wait

through that portal gate

i’d send for you if i could

we’d dream of peace in all men’s souls

if i could shut the screams of all the hate

and stop the scourge of rampant death

and shove them both down the deepest hole

if i could reverse the time of pain and torture

you and i would mend our souls together
