A child who longs for her mother's presence.

Every time I cry you are nowhere to be found

Lying on my bed without making any sound

Never sure if you could hear me weep

Hoping that I could feel comfort in my sleep.

Love the selection of words and how it rhymes.
It made me feel like a small boy reading it; knowing that feel of discomfort and nervousness whenever my mom wasn't around.

Anyway, I wish your poems were a bit longer though. I'd definitely love to read more of it :)
