Let The River Flow with a Red Rose

Let The River Flow with a Red Rose

A Poem by Thomas Ryan

In the hush of twilight's gleam,
Where the river whispers dreams,
Let the current gently wend,
With a crimson rose, love's blend.
Let its petals kiss the stream,
As it dances in moonbeam's gleam,
Flowing with a timeless grace,
In nature's tender embrace.
Let the river weave its tale,
Carrying memories, without fail,
And in its course, let hearts know,
The beauty of letting love flow.
With each ripple, each soft sigh,
Beneath the canvas of the sky,
Let the red rose's fragrance soar,
Guiding dreams to distant shores.
Let the river flow, let it roam,
Carrying whispers of love's poem,
With a red rose, ever aglow,
In its current, let passion grow.
