I sit alone at my laptop

I wonder if I'm on your top?

I check your profile for the hundreth time

I wonder if  your checking mine

Your online, but your ignoring me

Maybe I should wait and see

I think of excuses in my head

Maybe my message hasn't been read

I can't believe I let myself get like this

Your the only one I seem to miss

I should probably get off

When my mom walks by she simply scoffs

I can't pry myself away from my screen

I read your last message again so I understand exactly what it means

I recheck my inbox it's still empty

Maybe I should just wait and see

I know the feeling. I also know how hard it is when you just keep saying "Maybe I should just wait and see" Because sometimes it just never happens like that. You sit and wait all night and all day if you have to. But at the end all your left with is wasted time.
