A Poem by Alicante lullaby

Mother pain

come teach me

unravel,unbraid these quilted mysteries,

Tell me

has my heart gone restive

or is it me-a restive heart

Original

(Aay dard bata

kuch tou hii bata

kub sy yeh moama hal naa hoa

hum mein hai dil e baytaab nihan

ya aap dil e baytaab hain hum)

baytaabi ek saroor hai,
sab is dil ka kasoor hai...
mughalatein is dil ke kya kahiye,
apne dard par bhi ise ghuroor hai...

well i understand very little of Urdu... but i think the Urdu version is something very good.. and the translated version is also good.. but how the difference of languages makes them feel apart... but i guess the things lost in translation makes you think more... aur yeh cheese...
baytaab kar deta hai...
