Comma,’ Apostrophe

 

The penitent culprit used a comma instead of an apostrophe

whilst writing their admission  to the cause of a preventable,

minor catastrophe. To behaviours which were not acceptable

to oneself, let alone the whole of humanity. A regretful, guilt

engulfed adult, bewildered by their previous autocracy, was

once recruited  in to a state run bureaucracy. Failed attempts

were relentless in addressing their former perjury, in outwitting

their reckless bouts of  intense melancholy. A grown man with

an air of fragility, and a complex past, was to embrace all the

experiences of repentance and of healing to finally last............

from what i can gather this is a good piece based on ,a former swindler or someone who was once in government but then fell into depravity now he seeks to change his immoral ways.but this cannot be done easily because its become a disposition for him or her . good piece i loved it , you have a diction that is golden :)

this worked for me as a series of disconnected vignettes, each adding a new layer but profound in a different way. well done for writing something that stretches the intellect. sometimes we all get the apostrophe in the wrong place- and sometimes it is costly. fantastic.

The dramatic comedy of this one is quite good! It's like those satyrs that really make you think through. small things could cause misunderstandings that could cause great damages. Impressive write and a funny tale with strong build and underlying meaning you have!

I am taken a back somewhat my friend, that you should consider this piece a 'comedy write', given that this was not at all my intention, nor my feelings when I was writing my piece, it was interesting to read you comments, thanks for reviewing.

Maybe that's not the term. Perhaps Ironic? How small things could affect a big whole. It's funny because things aren't what they actually seem to be. It was not at all my intention to make fun. :)
