WITHOUT A TRACEA Poem by SHEEMA HUQA Poem
Feisty waves, stream
with synchronised motions,
splashing
sultry devotions, rippling aligned,
steadily in situ, gushing as froffy, white
heads
tipple,
in to lively, virtuous, river rituals.
The mystic
moon is vaguely present,
a faint, elegant, icicle crescent.
Frailty
is transcendent, as a precious glove
of maroon velvet, (a precarious gift,
received,
following a tiff) ,
haphazardly falls from grace, at an
atmospheric
pace, sinking
effortlessly
among fastidious waves,
without
barely a trace.
