Incoming!!

Experience is useless unless you apply it...

The higher they sit
The more inertia they have
To fall like a cannonball
Gnarling an unsinkable hull

 

The disappointment
creeps in every time
Then GUSH
there's a deluge
anchoring my heart
pulling the beating beast
down to it's lair
where it belongs

 

The burning sun in sight
Beaming through the surface
Trying to evaporate my bed
Out of place in this sanctuary
Luckily it's watery
Like our grave

 

There's safety here
And the darkness is so comfortable
Let me just close my eyes
for a moment...
I'll swim up to meet the sun
later
